Role Overview:
As our Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving new customer engagements. This is an exciting opportunity for strategic thinkers with excellent negotiation skills, ready to tactically execute strategic plans. Take pride in leading high-priority programs with high visibility.

Reports to: Head of Business Development
Location: Eden Prairie, MN Office (preferred); Remote optional

Key Responsibilities:

Seek out, manage, and grow revenue streams
Identify sales opportunities and lead the qualification process
Drive sales, increase revenue, and achieve financial margin objectives
Obtain customer forecasts and orders with standard lead times
Maintain high-level awareness of program status, managing all customer communication and expectations
Understand customers' overall goals and strategy to create the best value proposition
Mitigate negative impacts on the company in the event of significant changes in a customer's business
Keep all major activities in CRM up to date
Qualifications:
Required:

10+ years of experience in account management or a similar role (direct, OEM, Manufacturer's Representative, or distribution)
Extensive industry knowledge and relationships
Experience with regulated markets (Medical, Military, Aerospace, Transportation)
Effective tactics for prospecting new customers
Sharp negotiation, networking, and problem-solving skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems
Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and CRM systems
Preferred/Desired:

5+ years of embedded modules and systems sales experience
Technical background, ideally with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Completion of formal sales training
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Regular use of hands and fingers, close vision, and ability to adjust focus
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
Regular work at a computer/laptop
Quiet office setting with moderate noise in the manufacturing area
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Work Authorization:
The candidate must meet the definition of "US Person" under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time, remote or on-site position. Typical days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with some flexibility. It may be necessary to work more than 40 hours per week at times.
