Cashier Responsibilities
- Be available for scheduling on PRIORITY DAYS : Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Always media ready and in uniform.
- Prompt clock-ins when scheduled to work.
- Greet our guests entering and leaving the business.
- Take customer orders in-person and by telephone.
- Complete customer orders satisfactorily.
- Serve curbside orders.
- Accurately process all cash and credit payments using the Toast POS system.
- Report customer complaints to manager on duty (MOD) immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness at register stations, serving counter, and dining room areas.
- Complete health and safety tasks for opening/closing each day.
- Attending staff orientations and training.
Cashier Qualifications:
- Available on the PRIORITY DAYS : Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Demonstrate 3+ years customer services experience.
- Demonstrate experience with using POS technology.
- Demonstrate customer service experience and skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Obtain Serve Safe certification (within designated timeframe).
Performance Expectations:
- Great customer service skills.
- Become one of the top performers within the first 21 days.
- Excellent communication skills (face-to-face and telephone).
- Operate Toast POS system.
- Coordinate the front-of-the-house activities.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Forsyth Seafood Brand Ambassador.
- Qualify for Forsyth Seafood's Novant/Forsyth Medical Restaurant location.
