Job description
all operating function of all cranes located in the Cold Mill. Operation of the crane must be understood in total with the focus of utilizing the equipment to meet all the quality and productivity goals as outlined in our quality system. All work instructions must be followed as outlined. Know potential hazards for each task by using the J.S.A. pertaining to that task.
DUTIES
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Bridging
2. Trolleying.
3. Hoisting.
4. Crane inspection
5. Use of all below the hook lifting devices.
6. Material movement with crane.
7. Maintenance repairs using crane.
8. Routine line support.
9. Operate cranes not assigned to individual as needed.
10. Perform other job tasks as needed.
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Data entry using computer.
2. Inquires using computer.
3. Use of documents and records.
4. Working knowledge of Work Instructions.
5. Working knowledge of J.S.A.s.
6. Operation of transfer cars.
7. Participation in continuous improvement programs.
8. Swing Shift required
9. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of a High School Degree or Equivalent (GED)
