Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Global Media Support Operator with our client in the entertainment industry located in Sterling, VA. - 1-Year assignment (with the possibility of extension)
- Pay: $20.00/hr.
- 100% Onsite in Sterling, VA.
Overview:
Global Media Support Operators are responsible for daily monitoring, tracking and coordinating resolution for issues reported on our Digital Platforms including international. In this role you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues related to various forms of media including captions, metadata, video, audio, and images. You must also coordinate and communicate with stakeholders and within your team for daily reported incidents and larger volume projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Communicate, Monitor and track issues in a Service Now Portal
- Perform technical review (QC) and data entry of/for digital content
- Utilize Media Asset Management system to update metadata and provide reporting as needed
- Knowledge of related standard operation procedures and company policies
- Initiate and troubleshoot media acquisition and fulfillment workflows
- Work within Office 365 suite for daily tracking and monthly metrics
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communication Arts or Radio/TV/Film preferred
- 2 to 3 years experience with various encoding processes, editing, and signal routing in a broadcast/post-production environment is highly desirable.
- Experience with Non-linear Editing software and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with media file transfer and sharing workflows
- Multilingual a plus; Spanish and English preferred.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and proficient in computer usage.
- Must have a thorough understanding of international and domestic media formats (UHD, HD, SD, frame rate)
- Must have a thorough understanding of video resolution, and audio formatting
- Must have a basic understanding of Media files including file formats, codecs, file size and storage
- Must have demonstrated experience dealing with immediate deadlines that require problem solving and on the fly critical analysis
- Must be self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines in a team environment
Able to work independently and within a team
Must always maintain professional attitude, demeanor and relationship with DCI management, co-workers, and staff.
Must have the legal right to work in the United States Must be results oriented. - Must possess a front office appearance.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel.
