Role and Responsibilities:

As a Field Service Engineer at Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited you will be responsible for providing specialized repair and maintenance services to diagnostic imaging and laboratory equipment in the radiology and nuclear medicine field. Your key job responsibilities include:

• Performing repair and maintenance on intermediate imaging equipment such as Digital Radiography units basic CT CT Sim basic oncology and Vascular/Specials systems.
• Reducing contract dependency by utilizing training opportunities for the same equipment.
• Providing leadership and assistance to the Clinical Engineering department for efficient and costeffective repair and maintenance of imaging equipment.
• Handling service emergencies and communicating effectively with vendors departments and the Clinical Engineering CE Manager.
• Assisting in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for servicing Diagnostic Imaging and Biomedical equipment.
• Providing coverage and support for the CE Manager during their absence.
• Identifying new service opportunities and providing input to the CE Manager.
• Providing service cost history to the CE Manager with a focus on reducing service expenses.
• Secondary responsibility for repair and maintenance of general biomedical equipment.

Candidate Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position you should meet the following qualifications:

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Equivalent military education graduate of a technical program or equivalent training validated through training certificates or experience is also accepted.
• 25 years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment such as General XRay (Rad including but not limited to Rad Rooms Portables and CArms).
• Ability to repair and maintain a wide variety of imaging equipment.
• CRES certification is preferred.
• A valid Drivers License and reliable transportation are required.
• Intermediate language ability (reading writing and speaking).
• Basic math ability (addition subtraction multiplication division computation of rate ratio percent).
• Basic reasoning ability to follow instructions and solve simple problems.
• Computer skills: familiarity with MS Office Suite and internetbased applications.
