Job Title: Controller - General Contractor/Civil Subcontractor - 100Mil+ Revenue
Job Location: Danvers, MA

Requirements: 5+ Years Experience as Controller overseeing at least $100 Mil in Construction Costs

We are a rapidly growing general contractor & civil subcontractor that has been around for over 8 years running over $100mil in work already! We are continuing to expand as we build out our corporate office and are opening new offices in surrounding states. We have multimillion $ contracts already awarded and are looking to bring on a full time controller in our corporate office in Danvers, to oversee all the job cost accounting for the company and assist the CFO in higher level financial reporting.

What You Will Be Doing

The Controller is responsible for full cycle accounting and financial reporting for a general contractor running over $100Mil in construction costs year over year. Including the preparation of consolidated financial statements, reconciliations of all major balance sheet accounts, annual audits and tax compliance.

- Full cycle accounting and financial reporting for all our entities
- Managing the project accounting team
- Financial reporting to partners, investors, lenders and other parties included
- Overall management of receipts and disbursements
- Union & payroll accounting
- Fixed Asset accounting
- WIP reporting

What You Need for this Position

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, MBA or CPA is preferred but not required
- 5+ years experience in construction project accounting including job-cost and consolidation on construction costs above $30Million including multiple projects at once
- 5+ years experience in a leadership role
- Strong experience in GAAP, finance, accounting, and budgeting principles.
- Experience with construction accounting software's (preferred experience with Vista/Viewpoint)
