Our client, a community hospital serving a culturally diverse area of New York City, is hiring a
Neurologist, Medical Director .
Job Responsibilities: - Establishing, and achieving Neurology departmental objectives
- Overseeing the operations of the stroke service
- Managing and expanding the neurology faculty in this growing program
- Grow with the hospital which is on track to achieve Joint Commission primary stroke center level of certification
- Direct in-patient consultation services and outpatient care
- Teaching and supervision of advanced clinical providers, internal
- medicine residents and medical students
Faculty appointment
Job Requirements: - Experience, clinically, academically, and administratively
- Proven track record in leadership in the medical setting is a must.
- MD Degree
- Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
