Job Summary

SpecialtyCare is the largest provider of neuromonitoring services in the US! As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Practice Director for our Remote Neuromonitoring Physician (RNP) team. This role is responsible for providing leadership and expertise in planning, guiding and coordinating practice operations to ensure that high quality and efficient care is provided by the RNP team in conjunction with the Surgical Neurophysiologist (SNP) team to patients.

This is a hybrid opportunity in our Brentwood, TN corporate office. 

Functions in clinical and administrative support position within the practice.

Work with leadership to identify problems and opportunities and initiates plans for decision-making and problem solving in the organization.

Supervise and manage the physician practice day-to-day operations, including the deployment team.

Work with appropriate team members and leaders to ensure provider schedules are at a level to achieve identified benchmarks and apprise leadership of any issues in regard to achievement of benchmarks.

Assure adequate provider coverage to ensure patient care needs are met.

Make recommendation for staffing levels based on productivity and patient monitoring needs.

Ensure credentialing and licensure levels for each physician is in alignment with operational and financial goals.

Handle planning of licensing and credentialing for new RNP associates as well as for existing RNP associates when new accounts are acquired.

Participate in interviewing, hiring and orientation of new associates to the RNP team.

Collaborate with other SpecialtyCare C-Suite leadership to identify areas of concern for providers and bring forward for resolution and feedback/follow-up.

Work with quality leaders to assess improvements made in systems and processes, efficiency, innovation and creativity as well as commitment to generating new solutions and ideas.

Mentor RNP associates with compassion and support through regular communication and teamwork.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

·MS/MBA in any relevant field 

Experience:

·Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience including at least five (5) years in a managerial position within healthcare.

·Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

·Strong understanding of healthcare administration

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Strong leadership, management and communication skills

·Highly organized and proactive

·Ability to work with large complex data sets with guidance from medically trained individuals.

·Strong analytical skills, ability to identify problems, think logically – or creatively, and advise practical solutions.

·Able to handle multiple priorities while remaining professional and calm.

·Strong familiarity with, or able to master computer systems related to healthcare

·Working knowledge of computer software, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and especially Excel.

·Strong level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of materials and information handled.

·Self-motivated as well as be able to work as part of a team.
