ABOUT THE POSITION
As our the Regional Sales Manager for the US, you will be a crucial part of our dynamic American team. Collaborating closely with your counterpart on the East Coast, your primary focus will be on the West Coast market.
Your role involves proactively identifying exciting business opportunities within key customer segments such as network, industry, critical infrastructure, and defence - with a particular emphasis is on the latter. You will engage with potential distributors and customers, using your expertise in traditional sales activities; prospecting, meeting booking, tconducting sales meetings, external monitoring, implementation and follow-up.
You will have responsibility of developing sales and marketing processes, providing valuable feedback on customer requirements and staying ahead of market trends for product development and management. Active engagement with customer care, maintaining customer registers and CRM systems, as well as planning, implementing, and participating in events, trade fairs, and similar activities, are all part of your diverse role.
You will report to the Sales Director of Micropol, working remotely, which means you need to have access to a home office. Travel is included in this position, mainly within North America and occasionally in Europe.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Meritorious qualifications include education in fiber optics, sales experience in the defence industry, and expertise in public procurement.
