Our Autonomous Solutions Engineering team is looking for a
Senior Front End Developer to join our highly innovative engineering teams designing Autonomous Solutions for mobile equipment in the surface mining industry.
As a
Senior Front End Developer, you will develop and improve the Front-End Applications that support our Autonomous Solutions for the surface mining industry. You will work closely with the rest of the software development team, UI/UX designer and product support team located in Australia and the United States.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and implementation of user interfaces for our web applications used alongside the Autonomous Solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, global teams, including back end developers and designers, to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the continuous improvement of our front end development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to front end development, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Requirements The essentials: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Front End Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Tailwind, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Build and maintain best-in-class deployment process by utilizing CI/CD tooling and practices.
The desirables: - Familiarity with back end development and server-side languages.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
- Strong C# Development Skills
- Experience with machine automation systems
- Experience working with Jira
