As we continue our evolution and growth into a leading HCM SaaS technology provider to businesses, we are seeking our next Payroll Tax Associate. The Payroll Tax Associate will focus on tax reporting, resolving penalty notices and amending tax returns. They will also be responsible for preparing and submitting interim, quarterly and annual tax returns.

No two days will be the same but here is what you can expect:
- Researching and resolving agency tax penalty notices
- Interfacing with service reps, clients, and agencies
- Preparing and submitting payroll tax returns and amended tax returns
- Communicate with taxing agencies on a as needed basis
- Communicate in a timely manner with customers and internal stakeholders regarding notices/amendments progress towards completion
- Processing client payroll tax transactions
- Electronic ACH debit or payment processing, as needed
- Routine internal auditing
- Problem research and resolution
- Assisting with daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax return reconciliation and processing
Qualifications:
- Experience in various aspects of Employer Payroll Tax processing (preferred)
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field (strongly recommended)
- Knowledge of Master Tax software system (preferred)
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
- Efficient and effective multi-tasking
- Strong analytical and auditing skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work overtime when needed
