Job Description:
As a Solutions Engineer - Data Center, you will be responsible for leading, planning, designing, and implementing data center infrastructure technologies, both on-premises and leveraging cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) resources. The successful candidate will have extensive experience designing and implementing multi-vendor network infrastructures including hypervisors, virtual networks, multi-node storage services, backup and restore techniques, as well as business continuity planning and testing.

Job Responsibilities:

Post sales technical delivery and engineering of VMware vSphere and Site Recovery Manager solutions
Design and implement fiber channel-based storage arrays.
Design and implement Cisco UCS compute fabrics.
Implement and manage Veeam or similar backup and archival software packages.
Design and guide infrastructure solutions which merge the capabilities of on-premise with IaaS resources

Job Knowledge/Skills:

Fundamental working knowledge of basic switching and routing within IP networks
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure VPCs, virtual machine, storage, and snapshotting architectures
Exceptional written and interpersonal communications skills
Strong time management and organizational skills

Education and Experience:

5 years practical experience implementing on-premise data center technologies
Experience with Cisco ISR Routers, and Cisco Ethernet switching including Nexus Data Center switches and Catalyst Campus switches.
Desired certifications:
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) - Data Center Virtualization
Microsoft Certified Associate (MCA) - Azure Administrator
