The Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Wrentham Developmental Center (WDC) is searching for a passionate human service professional desiring to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges to fill a Service Coordinator Supervisor (HSC II) position. The Supervisor will supervise the performance and monitor the duties of several Service Coordinator I positions. The Supervisor oversees the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISP) for assigned caseloads and verifies all tasks are in accordance with the Active Treatment schedules, Facility policies, and Federal/State regulations.

This position is NOT hybrid and will be in the office 5 days a week.

Full-time – 40-hour weekly position on 1st Shift (Day)

Schedule – Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Days off – Sunday and Saturday

Flexibility with work schedule will be required for this position.

Qualifications

Applicants must have (A) at least four (4) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, case management or clinical/therapeutic experience (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.



Based on assignment, travel may be required. Incumbents who elect to use a motor vehicle for travel must have a current and valid motor vehicle driver’s license at a class level specific to assignment.

Substitutions:



I. A Bachelor’s or higher degree in a related field may substitute for two (2) years of the required (A) experience.



Based on assignment as Qualified Intellectual Disabled Professionals, within the Department of Developmental Services, a Bachelor’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, counseling education, education of the physically or emotionally handicapped, education of the multiple handicapped, education of the learning disabled, human services, rehabilitation, rehabilitation counseling, nursing, recreation therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, music therapy, physical education or other a related field is required.



Based on assignment as a Mental Health Case Manager or Forensic Transition Team Coordinator, within the Department of Mental Health, a Bachelor’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, counseling education, education of the physically or emotionally handicapped, education of the multiple handicapped, education of the learning disabled, human services, rehabilitation counseling, education or other a related field is required.
