ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. • Ability to move parts on and off pallets.
• Ability to read and interpret shop order instructions, specifications and other written and verbal instructions.
• Load and unload furnaces.
• Places work piece into heating furnace for specified period of time.
• Will learn to perform hardness inspection and read conversion table (ASTM E140).
• Load couple preparation.
• Grinds parts.
• Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
• Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.
