DESK STAFF ATTENDANT

SEASONAL – SUMMER 2024

Fairfield Beach Club in Fairfield, CT is looking for Desk Staff Associates to join our team. This is a seasonal position.

Desk Staff Associates ensure that the membership and their guests have the best possible experience, each day, at the Fairfield Beach Club. They present a friendly and helpful demeanor toward the membership and their guests. As an associate, you would provide membership support, to answer all questions they should have about the club, as well as the website. You would also take reservations for beach set-ups and events. In addition, you would create club event posters and fulfill any club required mailings to the membership.

INTERVIEWS START MARCH 15th.

Information to schedule an interview will be sent to all applicants 2 weeks before March 15th.

Responsibilities

• Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude as well as provide exceptional customer service
• Should be on time for their scheduled shift and be diligent and proactive in their responsibilities
• Have a knowledge and proficiency of our club website, club events and the club grounds to address questions or concerns by the club membership
• Answer the phone and help as required
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of workspaces and the surrounding areas
• Have the flexibility to work, days, nights, weekends, and holidays (including the 4th of July weekend)
• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by the on-shift supervisor

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Personable, good customer service skills and ability to communicate with other team members and departments efficiently
• Member recognition and use of their names is essential
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds
• Must be at least 16 years of age
