Job description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a leading specialty food manufacturer in the search for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic . In this role, you'll be r esponsible for the maintenance of machines and equipment for productivity and safety. Must be able to follow all procedures set by company and GMP AND HACCP. This opportunity offers a 4 p.m.–1 a.m. schedule. For immediate consideration, apply today.

Responsibilities 

• Perform a variety of electrical trade functions, including the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment. 
• Hook up electrical wire to machines and rewire machines according to specifications.
• Perform checks and balances on machines to assure the proper functioning of wiring system.
• Inspect, test and adjust all systems, machinery and equipment on a regular basis.
• Record all inspections, tests and repairs on preventive maintenance records. 
• Respond to verbal or written instructions for safety and security calls regarding machinery.
• Inspect damaged parts, determine nature of repair and use repair tools to rework or refinish worn or damaged parts. 
• Install special functional and structural parts and equipment. 
• Reassemble equipment and test performance as needed. 
• Record written recommendations on needed repair work. 
• Perform other related duties as assigned. 
• Report all the non-conformity, regarding the food safety and the quality finding to the management team
• Work in compliance with FDA, 3rd party audit and SFI guide lines 

Education/Training 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent 

Experience 

• Prior electrical and mechanical experience is helpful.
