Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated interns to join our world-class team for the summer of 2024 and help create the future of affordable, high-reliability space systems. We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated practical problem-solving experience in their hobbies, academic projects, and/or previous internships.

An Astrodynamics Internship will provide an opportunity for candidates to perform mission analysis and operations support for challenges pertaining to orbital mechanics and satellite motion. Common topics include algorithm, simulation, and tool development relating to orbit determination, maneuver planning, relative navigation, and dynamical modeling of multi-body systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Support modeling and simulation environment development for mission analysis needs
• Organize and maintain astrodynamics tool database, including algorithm development and documentation
• Model sensor performance to support satellite navigation needs
• Support in lab-testing for sensor performance characterization
• Other job duties

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD degree
• Completion of introductory astrodynamics course(s)
• Completion of numerical methods course(s) for engineering application
• Proficiency in scientific computing language(s) such as MATLAB, Python, Julia, etc.
• Applicants must be returning to school following the end of their summer internship

Compensation:

We’re excited to offer a competitive compensation package for this paid internship. All summer interns will also receive a bi-weekly stipend throughout their tenure here.
