Job description
BARRIER CONSTRUCTION , a 3rd generation family business, provides general contracting, design and exterior remodeling, moisture remediation, and stucco expertise.
What you'll do:
- Pull permits for future jobs.
- Meet with city inspectors.
- Lead pre-con meetings with clients and key subcontractors.
- Conduct site visits for field measurements with suppliers or vendors--windows, countertops, cabinets.
- Provide day-to-day communication and updates with client and sub-contractor activity.
- Coordination of sub-contractors ensuring the flooring crew, cabinet crew, and finish trim crew, properly complete tasks, preparing the next trade for success.
- Coordinate material deliveries.
- Mobilize trucks, trailers, materials, and supplies.
- Job cost/estimating and bidding will come into play.
- Create a final punch list and closeout efforts with clients and subs.
- Coordinate final clean-up, dumpster, porta-potty, materials, etc.
- Conduct final inspection with the city.
You are accountable for continuous communication and effective collaboration with the sales & production management team, office staff, and bookkeeping department.
