Massachusetts Account Manager Job LocationsIn 1979, the Rhode Island Blood Center was established by the hospitals in Rhode Island as a private, not for profit agency to collect, test, and distribute blood products. Today, the Rhode Blood Center is a division of New York Blood Center and is among the nation's premium providers of blood products and services and an integral part of the Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts community's health care systems. As of December 2018, the Rhode Island Blood Center employs approximately 320 full- and part-time employees. ResponsibilitiesSummary:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing assigned accounts/territories through planning, developing, and promoting blood donor recruitment activities; for educating donors, sponsors, and community regarding donor recruitment and NYBC enterprise-wide activities to meet patient needs.
Essential Functions:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (four to six years) with emphasis in one or more of the following areas: Sales, public relations, management, education/and or business development.
Qualifications:
Two years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or customer service experience preferred
Valid Driver's License. Must have own vehicle in reliable condition
Local travel 50+% of the time
Related Experience:
Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
The proposed annual salary is $57,530 to $66,000 p/yr
Offers made to an individual candidate will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and job-related education.
