The Project Coordinator will work with division management and field leadership to serve as a general team member for project support and ensure that projects are being completed safely, accurately, and in a timely manner. In this role, it will be essential to learn how the business runs, how changing circumstances are handled, and who to contact when there are questions. Critical for success are excellent oral and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in teams.
- Work with safety personnel to ensure that project is being built in accordance with OSHA and company regulations and that proper training is occurring
- Work closely with the division, field, and project management to ensure successful delivery of the project
- Support daily, weekly and monthly meetings, as assigned, including meeting communication, documentation of the minutes, and tracking of the action items
- Setup, organize, update, and maintain electronic and printed files of project documents utilizing various systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and SharePoint; Primavera P6; EcoSys; QuickBase; B2W; and others
- Update project management on all project progress, forecast, and field personnel changes
- Support field and project management with development and maintenance of production tracker
- Coordinate, schedule, and manage subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers, such as traffic control, digging, etc.
- Help develop, submit, track, and maintain all project submittals and requests for information.
- Download, issue, and schedule work packages, as directed
- Apply for and complete local permits and work with local jurisdictions and utility companies for all scopes of work
- Work with landowners and monitors lease agreements necessary for the project
- Support project team with access coordination
- Support expediting of material delivery to/ from job sites as necessary
- Audit timesheets for accuracy and program efficiency
- Conduct project close out activities. Assists with all contractual closeout activities (lessons learned, as built review, as built submittals, punch list items, etc.)
- Assume additional responsibilities as directed by management
- Knowledge of project coordination, construction management, or project controls experience in similar construction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint required; Visio, PowerPoint preferred)
- Maintain a professional appearance with the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Effective communication (oral, written, presentation, listening)
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks
- Ability to work onsite and travel locally as needed to support the project
- Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR)
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - depending on experience and qualifications.
