Job description
Position DescriptionThe Patient Care Intern is an unlicensed staff member who supports professional staff in providing care and service to patients and families under the direction and supervision of registered nurses, and supports the plan of care for assigned patients.
Position RequirementsHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization. Must be actively enrolled in an RN Program (ADN, BSN, or advanced nursing degree), must have completed Nursing Fundamentals. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred RequirementsCNA or CMA
