About Quinsigamond Community College: Quinsigamond Community College (QCC), the largest community college in Central Massachusetts serving over 13,000 students in degree and certificate programs, adult education and workforce development. Job Description: General Statement of Responsibilities The Case Manager Coordinator is a member of a team of professionals that implement the mission and vision of Quinsigamond Community College's Adult Community Learning Center. The coordinator is primarily responsible for supervising the Career and Education Case Managers that provide the tools and resources needed to assist students in achieving educational goals and workforce opportunities. The coordinator will create processes and preside over ensuring students have equitable access, career pathways, advising and student support services. The coordinator assists in collecting, analyzing, applying data and follow up to increase student retention and student outcomes.
Supervision Exercised The Case Manager Coordinator directly supervises Career and Education Case Managers.
Supervision Received The Case Manager Coordinator reports directly to the Director of the Adult Community Learning Center.
Duties and Responsibilities - Oversee the disbursement of information and scheduling of guest speakers on career pathways that allow students to make informed decisions regarding postsecondary education, training, and/or employment.
- Responsible for communicating program policies and procedures to department staff and ensures they are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Manages monthly Case Manager staff meetings.
- Participate in on-going LACES training to remain knowledgeable of changes. Responsible for managing and communicating changes and relevant information to staff.
- Monitors LACES and collects data to disperse to the program to assist in making informed decisions and guide change.
- Oversees and guides the professional development, training and workshops for department ensuring it connects directly to staff and program needs.
- Assists Director in planning and coordinating program events. For instance: Open House, Meet & Greets, Graduation.
- Creates and maintains a system of collaboration and communication among Career and Education Case Managers, Instructors, and students.
- Responsible for LACES student follow up, recording and tracking relevant information.
- Maintain confidential records. Devise and oversee electronic advising notes in the department.
- Remains current in knowledge of ACLS Policies and guides initiatives and sustains best practices within the department on the ten Indicators of Program Quality (IPQ's) in Adult Education.
- Remains current in the Worcester area job market, as well as current job market trends. Knowledge of community-based resources for employment and training resources. Disperses information in a timely manner to all staff.
- Remains current in knowledge of resources available to adult learners and ensures that Adult Learning Theory best practices are followed.
- Oversees and participates in the interviewing, hiring, and training of new Education and Career Case Managers.
- Actively support the teaching and learning process; practicing honesty and integrity in and out of the classroom; strive to create and support a student-centered environment while fostering academic innovation and excellence.
- Work actively with other areas of the college to ensure a spirit of college wide collaboration, collegiality, civility, and teamwork. Respect the function of dissent in an academic institution while advancing a collegial atmosphere of campus collaboration.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Education, or related field.
- Experience and skill using Microsoft O365; proficiency, familiarity, and comfort with computers.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and harmoniously with a team of professionals.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and familiarity with the ADA Act.
- Experience working with adults from diverse ethnic, racial, and linguistic groups in an adult education environment.
Preferred Qualifications - Master's Degree in Social Work or related field

- Supervisory experience
