Are you a talented Accountant seeking a unique work-from-home opportunity? If so, Main Accounting Services® has the perfect job for you! We specialize in providing accounting services to Law Firms and are on the hunt for a remarkable Staff Accountant to add to our team.
Since we started up in 2016, we have taken full advantage of remote working, and our staff is geographically dispersed around the nation. In order to maximize output and accuracy, we depend largely on QuickBooks Online, with additional integrations of Google, Gusto, SaasAnt, Xenett, and law firm-specific software like Clio, MyCase, Filevine, and PracticePanther. As we grow, we are in need of a tenacious accountant who is meticulous in all aspects of accounting. Responsibilities:
- Work with the Accounting Manger to produce precise monthly financial reports
- Reconcile all banking and credit card accounts
- Audit and resolve Balance Sheet accounts
- Balance Client Trust Accounts
- Research and reconcile accounting software to client software
- Complete special projects each week depending on client requirements
Qualifications:
- Exemplary problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive understanding of QuickBooks Online and Accounting/Bookkeeping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to effectively operate remotely while maintaining focus on productivity
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Team player who is flexible and willing to lend a hand across different responsibilities as needed
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field
- The ideal candidate will have multi-company public accounting/bookkeeping experience
