Job Title - Attorney

Location - Manhattan, New York

Job Description :

Comprehensive document review for business integrity and to make determinations as to whether a vendor is responsible or non-responsible (i.e., determinations as to whether the vendor has the capability in all respects to perform fully the contract requirements and the business integrity to justify the award of public funds).

  • Prepare non-responsibility determinations based on the vendor's failure to meet the standard of the item
  • Communicate with vendors to request timely/appropriate responses to Vendor Name Check issues
  • Legal Research & Writing
  • Prior experience with Procurement/Contracting Vendor Name Checks (VNC) responsibility determination and MOCS PASSPort system (highly desired)
  • The selected consultant is required to maintain confidentiality regarding all work performed

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Admission to the NYS Bar
  2. One year of satisfactory US legal experience after admission to any state bar.
  3. Communicate with vendors for VNC
  4. Legal Research & Writing
