Responsibilities
In the role of VDC Coordinator, you will:
- Set objectives and standards for BIM/coordination, work closely with project teams, and support VDC initiatives.
- Address various requests with innovative solutions that can be applied universally across projects.
- Oversee coordination meetings, direct planning and scheduling efforts, and mentor team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
- Oversee BIM environments, explore innovative solutions, and provide targeted training and conflict resolution.
- Maintain the integrity and consistency of work across projects, advancing practices and ensuring uniformity.
Requirements
To excel as a VDC Coordinator, you will need:
- Preferably a four-year degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
- 3-5 years in VDC projects, with a comprehensive understanding of model creation and project phases across various software platforms.
- Deep knowledge of design phases, construction workflows, and production cycles.
- Expertise in 3D modeling and coordination tools such as ACC, Revit, & Navisworks.
- Ability to tackle complex challenges with inventive solutions and strategic decision-making.
