LaSalle Network has partnered with a manufacturing company that serves restaurant brands and CPG companies to hire a
Operations Manager. The team is looking for an experience food manufacturing professional to lead their sous-vide packaging plant in both production and warehousing.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:- Manage production of a 90 person plant
- Oversee warehousing and ensure efficient processes are in place
- Create and establish solutions to efficiency problems on both production lines and warehousing
- Ensure processes are compliant with corresponding regulatory agencies' policies and requirements
- Collaborate with R&D and Engineering on new product development
- Oversee food safety and quality programs
Operations Manager Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years food manufacturing experience
- Strong working knowledge of USDA/FDA guidance and regulations and GFSI requirements
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- Proficient with computers and various software packages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to stand alone and make difficult decisions
- Results, action and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills
