Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function for multiple clients.
- Develop and implement accounts payable policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Monitor and resolve any accounts payable discrepancies or issues.
- Perform regular analysis of accounts payable data, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any payment-related inquiries or concerns.
- Train and mentor accounts payable staff to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable management or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounts payable processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Netsuite, or SAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
