Brown & Brown is seeking a Marketing Representative to join our Commercial Lines team in Doral , Florida.
This individual must be able to work independently, manage and meet proposal deadlines. They will work closely with our Sales Producers, negotiating insurance terms and conditions to secure best pricing, and WIN .
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Discussing market strategy with the Marketing Leader and/or Producer on assigned
Maintain current on carrier appetites and underwriting guidelines.
Be able to meet proposal deadlines.
Assist with submission preparation, which includes input of ACORD applications in Applied Systems and completion of supplementary applications using information provided by the producers.
Disbursement of submission to markets. (Be able to determine which market fits the risk)
Maintaining a system of follow-ups and tracking on all business out to market.
Maintain and update all rating software, which include the keeping of all codes, passwords, and program setup information.
Assist with computer-related questions, such as with regard to using programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook), creating proposals, or creating custom declarations.
Assist with the underwriting, rating, and uploading of accounts via online rating platforms
Maintain complete documentation of all workflow in AMS and ImageRight.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
High school degree
At least five years broad retail experience in Commercial Lines.
Florida 2-20 License
Exceptional telephone demeanor
College degree in a business or financial related discipline
Professional Designation (AAI, ARM and/or CIC)
