Job description

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Gastroenterology - Optimum is proud to partner with a medical center 30 minutes outside Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with an opening for a Gastroenterologist to join their team.

Reside in an affordable, family-friendly area with top-ranking schools, outstanding sports facilities, and delicious local restaurants.

Opening Highlights:
-Schedule: Monday-Friday, will consider a 4-day workweek
-Offsite call
-Mainly outpatient, the NP does all the IP rounding and prep for cases
-Average Monthly Census: 160 colonoscopy, 70 EGDs, & 195 outpatients
-Will take general GIs, but ERCP is preferred
-4 endo suites
-Full support staff, office admin, and CRNAs in-house 24|7
-EMR: Epic
-Board certification required
-Will sponsor J1 or H1B
