Page Professional Services LLC is seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team.They specialize in providing custom water reclamation solutions to a wide range of industries and are looking for individuals who are passionate about developing and designing mechanical equipment. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of products and systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and prototyping new products with a focus on skid systems, pumping systems and filtration systems for water reclamation as well as improving upon existing designs. You will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet the requirements of our clients and contribute to the overall success of our projects. Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills are essential in this role, as you will often be faced with complex design challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new mechanical systems and components
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate design alternatives
• Create detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software
• Determine proper applications of pumps, valves, solenoid's, filtration, storage tanks etc.
• Perform simulations and analysis to validate design concepts
• Have knowledge of electrical controls and PLC's and HMI's to integrate mechanical components into larger systems
• Identify and troubleshoot design issues and propose solutions
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to enhance product functionality and performance
• Project management and time management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical design engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Fusion)
• Experience with Pumps, Filtration, Water treatment, and Storage
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and design standards
• Experience with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection and applications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills
