PSC Industries is seeking a full-time Payroll Clerk for our Corporate office in Louisville. The Payroll Clerk is a vital and important function at PSC Industries, and we are ready to hire immediately.
Payroll Clerk | Full-time position | Location: Louisville, KY
Job Summary: This position will process employee payroll and related processes as they correlate to all departments, including Finance and Human Resources.
Main Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform payroll processes utilizing Kronos, including employee payroll set-up; changes or additions to employee payroll deductions (garnishments, withholding taxes, benefits, etc.) time punches for data accuracy and completeness.
- Review payroll registers for accuracy of monthly activity, including changes, additions, deletions, terminations, etc.
- Ensure necessary data is available in Kronos so Kronos can complete and file Federal and State reports, including but not limited to W2’s, 941’s, multi-state reports.
- Research and compile data pertaining to State and Local Jurisdictional Tax.
- Share findings with Management. Scan and electronically file payroll forms and information.
- Perform other clerical functions as directed by Management.
Required Qualifications & Experiences:
- A High School diploma is required and a minimum one year of clerical or experience in an office setting is preferred.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Experience with Kronos, ADP, or equivalent payroll processing programs.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented, with a demonstrated high level of organizational skills and ability to research.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Self-motivated, time management skills, and can work independently.
- Must have a satisfactory pre-employment background check and drug screen.
