As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Help Desk Technician to join our team.
Position Overview:
The IT Help Desk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to employees and clients, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-oriented approach to resolving technical issues promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Set up and support user accounts, including password resets and access permissions.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Document support activities, solutions, and procedures for future reference.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of software applications and updates.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and other common IT systems.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Bonus points if you enjoy an occasional late-night meme battle.
Details:
- 40 hours per week
- Hourly Pay: $15-$17 per hour
- Work Type: In-Person and W-2
- PTO and Benefits available after six months of employment
