This is a unique opportunity for a high-level lead mechanic to develop and grow a team of mechanics while influencing the direction of the shop.

Hermes' Lead Mechanic will:

Review Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports; help diagnose and repair any vehicle issues noted in reports.
Perform and/or direct preventative maintenance activities on fleet vehicles
Perform diagnostics and determine plan of action for repairs, research and order parts, and complete repairs efficiently and accurately
Road test vehicles after repairs
Document all maintenance and repairs
Maintain shop and company equipment and tools
Mentor apprentices on all aspects of vehicle repair

Requirements
Qualified Candidates for the Automotive Technician / Diesel Mechanic position will have:

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and insurable MVR
3 or more years of experience in automotive repair and/or diesel mechanics
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
ASE certifications, including A/C and HVAC systems (preferred)
Class A or B CDL license with "P" endorsement (preferred)
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 30.00 45.00 Per Hour
