Job description
Join our team at BluePrint Engines, where we bring innovation to life! We are seeking a passionate and independent R & D Engine Technician to support our research and development projects. This role involves working closely with other technicians to assemble complete engine through transmission packages. Our company prides itself on fostering a team-oriented and self-directed work environment. This position is full-time and may require overtime.
Responsibilities
- Support various new Research and Development engine projects
- Prepare new engines for Dyno testing
- Assist in the preparation of test equipment, software, and hardware instrumentation
- Work cross-functionally with other groups to overcome issues and complete challenging tasks
- Progress multiple projects simultaneously without direct supervisor involvement
- Maintain equipment and work area, ensuring all areas are clean and safe
Qualifications
- Previous production experience
- Engine knowledge - Technical Certifications are a plus
- Assembly Experience
- Teamwork oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work in a self-directed environment
Work Environment
- This role involves heavy lifting and manual labor. The successful candidate should be prepared to work more than a standard 40-hour work week and may be required to work overtime.
