Position Overview

Are you driven by the idea of running your own business? Consider joining our team at a reputable State Farm agency. As a valued member of our team, you'll gain invaluable insights into what it takes to become a State Farm Agent. Your role will involve nurturing customer relationships within the community and promoting a range of State Farm products, from auto and home insurance to life insurance. This position offers hands-on experience in an agent's office, providing a stepping stone towards potentially becoming a State Farm agent in the future. Please note that this position is currently office-based and not remote.

Responsibilities

Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing inquiries about insurance availability, coverages, policy changes, claims, and billing.
Utilize a customer-focused approach to educate clients on insurance options and tailor solutions to their needs.
Collaborate with the agent to establish and achieve marketing objectives.
Generate leads, schedule appointments, assess customer needs, and promote suitable products and services.
Assist in managing website and social media content in coordination with the agent.

Requirements

Previous sales experience preferred, whether in outside sales, retail, or telemarketing.
Proven track record of meeting sales goals.
Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and attentive listening.
Passion for the role of insurance and financial products in safeguarding people's lives and aspirations.
Customer-centric mindset with strong self-motivation and team spirit.
Ability to obtain Property and Casualty license, as well as Life and Health license.
Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, in-office.

Compensation Range: $40,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
