Title: ASIC  Sr. Director

THE ROLE:

Juniper Networks seeks an experienced ASIC verification leader with strong technical skills. You will manage an ASIC verification group and lead the task of producing high quality bug-free industry-leading high performance and feature-rich networking silicon on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Possess a thorough knowledge of ASIC design cycle, from architecture to verification sign-off, and lab validation.
• Knowledge of the principles of project management and can apply them effectively on small to large size projects.
• Provide leadership to the ASIC verification team – drive activities spanning from project scheduling, test planning, test execution, debug, lab bring-up and customer support.
• Interact with ASIC IP and EDA vendors to resolve issues and drive higher productivity and quality.
• Initiates significant changes to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiency.
• Manage and handle issues and escalations with a sense of urgency.
• Availability for discussions with coworkers and customers in other time zones.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in delivering successful silicon in high-speed networking.
• Exposure to lab validation and customer support
• Consistent record leading and successfully delivering medium-to-large ASIC projects.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills. 
• Exposure to ASIC verification using SystemVerilog/UVM, modeling using SystemC/C++, emulation methodologies, build and regression environment using perl/Python

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or similar preferred

Minimum Salary: $240,000.00

Maximum Salary:$345,000.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $240,000.00 and $345,000.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
