Job Description Summary
The Full Stack Developer & Design Digital Thread Engineer will work with a Scrum Team and a Software Product Owner to help develop world class digital engineering tools and design the digital thread of connected tools and processes. Currently, this suite of tools includes tools for (1) optimizing customer wind farm value and turbine layouts, (2) automating and connecting engineering tools for speed in customer proposals and consolidating digital tools for wind turbine/farm simulations, loads evaluation and simulation configuration management.

Essential Responsibilities
- Advance state-of-the-art computer modeling and process improvements of Wind Turbines engineering digital tools
- Work with Product/Software Owners and functional stakeholders in engineering and commercial teams to refine our vision and execution for the OneWind suite of tools
- Support engineering tool development in terms of designing, building and testing critical engineering software tools.
- Look for ways to develop and integrate new digital technologies to add value to commercial applications as well as improve internal efficiencies
- Write detailed technical user manuals and process maps.
- Coach & Mentor team members in your area of expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 8 years programming experience or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development in one or more of the following languages: Java, Kotlin, Python
- Minimum 1 years involvement with Agile or Other Software Management techniques.
Desired Characteristics
- Strong Java/Kotlin Experience in Web Application Development
- Experience in Angular, Spring Boot, and microservices
- MS or PhD engineering degree in Computer Science, Mechanical or Aero Engineering
- Experience in Cloud Computing/AWS
- Understanding of Scrum Principles & Agile Techniques
- Ability to drive change in a challenging environment in an inclusive manner.
- Self-motivated with personal and project management skills
