Job description
FedEx Ground P&D Delivery Driver
R2 Fusion, Inc., (FedEx Contractor) is seeking highly energetic & motivated FedEx Package & Delivery Drivers to join our team in Frisco. Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering and picking up packages and providing exceptional customer service. Candidates must be available to work on a Saturday or Sunday of each week. Weekly salaries, depending on experience, range from $800-$900 (based on 5 days/week) plus the potential to earn weekly bonuses based on stop count and meeting safety/service metrics. CDL is NOT required.
Job Details/Requirements:
- Responsible for organizing packages on truck before routes are dispatched
- Operate 26' step van vehicles safely & in accordance with DOT laws
- Ensure pick-ups & deliveries are met within designated windows
- Perform daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip & post-trip)
- Deliver packages weighing up to 150 pounds
- Provide excellent customer service
Other Job Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable driving experience in the last 2 years (box truck, step-van, bulk truck, etc.)
- Provide 2 professional references for employment verification purposes
- Must possess a professional appearance and wear company uniforms at all times
- Pass a drug test and extensive background screening (no felonies of any kind)
- Able to lift up to 150 pounds and climb stairs without difficulty
- Medical exam is required for DOT/Medical Examiner Certificate
- Experience in the package/delivery industry is preferred
- Able to work on a Saturday or Sunday each weekend
- Possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Must be 21 or over with a valid driver's license
- Possess an energetic and positive attitude
- Possess reliable transportation
- High school diploma
