Position Summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a full-time Procurement and Facilities Manager. The successful candidate will be eager to learn while developing client and project management skills. The role includes responsibility for all procurement activities and facility management. The Procurement and Facilities Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization by developing and managing procurement processes and overseeing all facility-related activities.

This position reports directly to the Chief Business Officer and is an onsite role based out of our Burlington, MA corporate headquarters. The expectation is the successful candidate will be onsite daily so candidates need to be located geographically near Burlington, MA with the ability to thrive in an office environment. Prior people management experience is required as this position will have three direct reports.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Procurement:
  
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies in alignment with organization goals
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality goods and services
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal requirements
• Facilities Management:
  
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities, including offices, equipment, and communal areas
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address facility-related needs and to ensure a conducive working environment
  • Manage facility budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Vendor Management:
  
  • Evaluate and select vendors based on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements, ensuing favorable terms and conditions
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and address any issues or concerns
• Budgeting and Cost Control
  
  • Develop and manage budgets for procurement and facilities, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost reduction
  • Implement cost control measures without compromising quality or safety standards

Qualifications and Capabilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in procurement
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Databases is required
• NetSuite and DocuSign CLM experience is a plus
