Job Title: Air Quality Engineer
Location: Berkley, CA (other office locations avail)
Salary: $100-190k DOE
Requirements: Air Quality, Compliance & Permitting, SCAQMD, Title V, Emissions, Pollutants

We are a leading Air Quality and Multi-Media Environmental Services firm in California that implements Environmental Engineering and Compliance solutions for our clients throughout California. Our mission is to solve environmental compliance problems for industrial and governmental/infrastructure facilities

We are looking for an experienced Air Quality Engineer to join our team in Berkley, CA. As an Air Quality Engineer, you will serve as a key member in the development of our projects. You will be a leader in the areas of compliance, permitting, data analysis, and other aspects of air quality. You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and regulations to ensure our projects remain successful.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Air Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all regulations and permits related to air quality are met. You will be responsible for submitting permit applications and conducting air dispersion modeling to evaluate impact of pollutants from proposed and existing sources. You will also be responsible for conducting Human Health Risk Assessments (HRAs), and preparing Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs) under NEPA and CEQA.

What You Need for this Position

You will need at least 4+ years of experience with:
- Environmental Air Quality Compliance
- Air Quality Permitting (SCAQMD, Title V )
- CEQA/NEPA
- Federal, State, and Local Regulatory Agencies and Regulations (SCAQMD, EPA, CARB)
- California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline is required.
