Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering LMTS in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Build an API centric platform that handles the processing and management of financial transactions through numerous payment gateways and methods. Develop full-fledged features, ensuring the responsiveness of the system while working alongside product managers and coordinating with dependent teams and services. Develop code as serverless functions. Design and build API interfaces. Ensure responsiveness of the platform. Work alongside product owners to architect solutions. See through a project from conception to finished product. Stay abreast of developments in web services and programming languages. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Technology (any field), Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Technology (any field), Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Technology (any field), Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Software Development Lifecycle; (2) Agile development; (3) Enterprise Software Architecture; (4) Distributed Architecture; (5) Core Java; (6) J2EE; (7) AWS; (8) Spring; (9) Blockchain; (10) Kafka; (11) Apache Camel; (12) Microservice Architectures; (13) Multi-Threading; (14) Oracle; and (15) PL/SQL. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
