About the Company:
Our mission is to provide high-quality industrial services to our valued customers. These services will be provided by trained professionals committed to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction. We are currently hiring qualified Diesel Mechanics to perform maintenance on their fleet of vacuum trucks, street sweepers, water blasters, sewer camera trucks, forklifts, and pickup trucks. Successful candidates will be eligible for placement with our client on a temporary to permanent basis.

Job Details:

• Position: CDL Fleet Mechanic
• Pay Rate: $24.00/hr.
• Shift: 1st shift - 7:00 am-3:30 pm

Pre-Employment Requirements (Non-negotiable):

• Must complete and pass all Pre-Employment interviews and screenings
• Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and Criminal Background Test
• Practical Road Test
• Practical Skill Demonstration
• Must have reliable transportation to be successful in this position
• Must possess a Valid Class B CDL License
• Must have less than four points on driving record
• Must be capable of operating 8, 9, or 10 variable speed, manual shift diesel equipment

Job Description:

• Display an understanding of Diesel Mechanics.
• Perform road tests to isolate and verify required repairs.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Diesel Engines and Systems and the capacity to perform repairs on them.
• Utilize necessary tools and supplies.
• Perform service calls to off-site locations to perform repairs.
• Facilitate dialogue with management or customers to ensure project goals are met.
• Must be available for weekend shift work.
• Work in varying temperature conditions (cold & heat)

Qualifications:

• Must be punctual and accountable 
• Must be registered with the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse (complete query will be run prior to road test)
• Must be able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when applicable)
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
