Job description
Lab Coordinator MLee Healthcare has been tasked with finding a Lab Coordinator north of Dayton, OH. Relocation and sign on package available. Job Summary Coordinator must directly supervise operations, coordinate work assignments and activities within the laboratory; perform test procedures as needed; and prepare performance evaluations where applicable; maintain quality control of reagents, maintain preventative maintenance program; correlate continuing education activities; oversee orientation of new subordinates; attend scheduled meetings; and prepare reports as requested. Regulatory Requirements Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology science with at least one year experience with moderate/high complexity testing, OR Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical technology program with at least two years experience with moderate/high complexity testing, OR Previously qualified or could have qualified as a general supervisor prior to 2/28/92 under 42CFR493.1427 (3/14/90) Language Skills Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Skills Must be cross functional in all areas of the laboratory except histology.
