Dentologie is growing in Chicago over the next few months and is seeking upcoming Summer 2024 graduates for General Dentist(s) full-time opportunities between two of our busy office(s) beginning in Summer 2024.

Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.
- Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.
- Correct bite issues and overcrowding.
- Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
- Prescribe medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.
- Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.
- Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth.
- Keep accurate records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments rendered to them.
- Manage positively and openly communicate with other staff members to provide outstanding care to patients.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Appropriately diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases.
- Routinely communicate/follow up with patients whom you’ve provided treatment via telephone or email.
- Manage patient experiences, patient expectations, circumvent negative experiences and create positive outcomes for those experiences.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois state dental license and malpractice insurance.
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics, and thorough tx planning skills.
- Good, positive management skills.
- Strong inter-personal and leadership qualities.
- Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient.
- Implant placement or advanced certification if placing implants or performing any specialty work outside of general dentistry.
- Ability to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive criticism and be eager to further enhance your skillset.
