Salary: 175,000 - $200,000

Title: Attorney
Requirements: Cannabis law knowledge is not required! 5+ years of corporate transactional law is.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of cannabis law, including licensing, compliance, regulatory affairs, and risk management.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to cannabis business operations, partnerships, and transactions.
- Represent clients in negotiations, disputes, and regulatory proceedings with government agencies and other stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of changes in cannabis laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels, and advise clients accordingly.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters and internal initiatives.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the NY or NJ state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on corporate transactional work.
- Strong understanding of cannabis regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
