Job description
ODU Women's Soccer have an opening for a full-time assistant coach to support the existing coaching staff within the program. This position requires a coach with a minimum of 2 years full-time collegiate coaching experience, ideally at the D1 level. Salary is $57,000.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience in the identification and recruitment of elite level student-athletes, as well as the ability to network and build strong relationships with clubs.
Practical coaching experience in preparing and delivering on-field coaching sessions both in a team environment and as part of individual athlete development plans.
Sound knowledge of video editing and the preparation of video for game analysis, individual player analysis, scouting, and program promotion. Ideally familiar with software such as Wyscout, HUDL, Canva, Spiideo, Teamworks, Imovie.
Comfortable with social media platforms and ongoing promotion of program.
Able to assist with all general administrative duties related to coordinating a successful D1 program and ensuring compliance with NCAA, Sun Belt, and Old Dominion University policies and procedures.
Positive approach in coaching, passionate and committed to the holistic development of student-athletes, strong communication skills and a genuine desire to develop professionally within a staff team environment.
Driving license required.
Preferred: Possessing coach Education certification.
