Waferwire is seeking a Product Designer. This role primarily involves facilitating external communications and fostering user collaboration within Teams. Candidates with experience in systems records, AI, and product design (excluding graphic design) are preferred. The position provides the opportunity to influence the emerging landscape as Teams leads the AI frontier. Product Design within AI offers an exciting chance to contribute to a globally significant product, with Teams at the forefront. The role entails shaping the future of team collaboration with emergent technology and defining the true implications of new tech.

Job Description:

- We are looking for UX designers that can conceptualize the big picture, consider the system, and deliver detailed designs for our user experiences.
- Candidates will work with other designers, PMs and engineers to create forward thinking designs that are user scenario driven and meet business goals. At the core of this job candidates will identify user centered design patterns, establish scenarios, place designs into user context and create interactions that align to those requirements. You will need to show attention to detail and passion in the work you produce.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver world-class interaction designs from initial concept through to shipping.
- Deploy systems thinking to ensure ecosystem cohesion.
- Proficiently use and work within a design system.
- Create and assess design solutions based on user research data and user goals.
- Produce design visualizations to help everyone understand what the best experience should be: information architecture diagrams, storyboards, flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Work closely and constructively with product management, visual and interaction designers, editors, engineers and user researchers to iterate and deliver flawlessly.
- Interface with design teams across Microsoft to bring unity among our features.
- Be self-directed and able to self-manage.
- The role will consist of 25% meetings, the rest of the time heads down work.
Top 3 Skills:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience with Figma.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience with the ability to use and work with a mature design system (Knowing what HIG & material design are/what it means)
- Minimum 1-2 years experience with the ability to present to stakeholders.
