Adjunct Faculty: Health Science
NHTI-Concord’s Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in teaching at the college on a course-by-course basis.
Semester: Spring 2025
The instructor will be responsible for preparing and teaching both of the following 16-week courses:
Care & Prevention of Athletic Injuries
Course Number: HLTH 120C
Lecture Hours: 3
Lab, Clinic or Practicum Hours: 2
Credit Hours: 4
Spring 2025 (January 21-May 10, 2025)
Wednesdays 8-9:50 a.m. and Fridays 8-10:50 a.m.
This course covers basic first aid and the principles and techniques involved in prevention and care of common athletic injuries. Weekly lab sessions will be used to demonstrate and practice special tests, taping and wrapping, and recognition of athletic injuries, and will coincide with material covered during lecture.
