Orchestration Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain orchestration workflows and processes that automate operations in a distributed computing environment.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate Java-based applications with MongoDB databases and Informatica workflows, ensuring seamless data flow and processing.
- Implement and manage orchestration tools and platforms to support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Develop scripts and utilities to automate deployment, administration, and monitoring of applications and systems.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated solutions.
- Monitor orchestration workflows, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance for scalability and reliability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and orchestration best practices, and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
- Document orchestration architectures, designs, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Orchestration Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role, with a strong background in Java, MongoDB, and Informatica.
- Expertise in orchestration tools and platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Shell, Java).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Deep understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and architecture best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement efficient, reliable solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and strategies to ensure high availability and performance.
- 5+ years experience required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
