As a Specialist - Design in Engineering Services, you’ll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.
As a Specialist - Design, a typical day might include the following:
Designing solutions for customers
Working alongside Project Managers, Technical Leads, and Engineers from other focus areas
Extensive networking and programming
Commissioning projects in the field
This job might be for you if:
Experience creating protection & control design packages for transmission & distribution utilities, generation facilities, and industrial clients
Experience creating design packages including one-lines, three-lines, AC schematics, DC schematics, wiring diagrams, bill of material, SCADA points lists
Experience performing site visits and scoping protection & control retrofit designs
Experience applying customer-specific protection & control templates for greenfield and brownfield designs
Demonstrated ownership of each component of the design process, and delivery of the overall package
Demonstrated understanding of zones of protection, instrument transformers, and protective relaying schemes

Pay Range Data
We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
Specialist I: $57,200.00-$85,800.00
Specialist II: $63,800.00-$99,800.00
Specialist III: $72,500.00-$113,500.00
